Head of Postproduction / Video Product Content Manager

LittleThings is expanding the creation and distribution of its original programming, and is looking for a video content expert to join the product team in the NYC office. The new team member will be responsible for establishing metadata and format standards to ensure our videos comply with best practices and the requirements of our distribution partners. This position will report to the LittleThings VP of Product, and will work closely with Content teams on deliverables for OTT partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a scalable postproduction-to-delivery process for all video assets, from live shows to mini documentaries
  • Proactively keep track of industry standards and platform/partner-specific requirements
  • Work with our Video Content teams to edit video assets to meet the content requirements
  • Work with Product and Content teams to ensure proper tracking and reporting on video performance across all distribution channels
  • Partner with our Video Content teams to ensure that video assets (both raw and produced) are archived in a well-organized and easily retrievable manner
  • Supervise edits of live shows

 

Requirements 

  • 3+ years in video editing/postproduction and/or content distribution (feeds, OTT, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of postproduction tools and processes, including video, sound, motion graphics editing, and TriCaster operations
  • Process oriented, extremely organized, self-motivated, and able to author process documents and workflow charts
  • Highly communicative with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
