Senior Copywriter

New York, NY - Full Time

We’re seeking a Senior Copywriter with three to five years of experience to join our Branded Content team at LittleThings. We’re looking for someone with a knack for making branded video concepts come to life in a few short sentences. This role will report directly to the VP of Branded Content, but will also work closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure that our pre-sales materials are well-written and smart.

This role will sit in during creative brainstorms and create briefs for agencies and clients for all ideas discussed. The ideal candidate knows how to write pitches for marketing decks and has experience creating marketing copy for digital agencies.

We work at a rapid pace and need someone who can hear an idea and put it into words in a matter of minutes. We will be testing candidates in-house for this role.


  • Will work with the Branded Content team to conceive and deliver content to be sponsored by LittleThings’ advertising partners
  • Will brainstorm with Branded Content team based on information generated from RFP’s, in-person meetings, and general market intel
  • Will generate proactive concept descriptions that can be taken to market by Sales team to drive revenue from specific vertical categories (e.g., pets, recipes, parenting, etc.)
  • Will work closely with the Executive Producer of Branded Content and the VP of Branded Content on creative development and production of branded video 
  • Will be asked, from time to time, to draft email correspondence and speaking pitches for the EVP of Programming/Editor-in-Chief of LittleThings
  • Ideal candidate will be creative, clever, committed to exceptional client service, and adept at meeting deadlines


  • Three to five years of experience working on branded content in the digital space
  • Flawless writing skills and the ability to make a video concept come to life in a few short sentences
  • A bachelor’s or master’s in communications, English, marketing, or journalism
  • A keen understanding of social media and socially driven content; you are an active user of Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram
  • Experience managing one or more team members is a plus
